Exporting and Importing Alpacas

Waiheke Alpaca's Isolation Facility is a dedicated Alpaca Quarantine and Isloation Facility for Australia, EU, Asia, UK Shipments and can run concurrent protocols for separate destinations. Waiheke Island is in itself an isolated, controlled and unique environment, free from TB vectors making it ideal for quarantine.
 

Remember we provide FREE Quarantine for any alpaca purchased for export over the value of $6000 NZD.

Please note destinations vary in PEQ time on Farm, we can advise accordingly and pickup prior to export. Imported stock must have been in NZ for a minimum of 6 months by Day of dispatch for most overseas destinations.
We can also clear Imported stock and make all arrangements required. Screening, Male Certification, Pregnancy Scanning, Vet Health Insurance Checks, Shearing, Stud Matings and Agistment are available.
Note: we strongly recommend Insurance for all alpacas in Transit.
